Having been intrigued by glass as long as I can remember, and always collected work from other glass artists from around the world.
I have taken a class here and there through the years but it was not until the spring of 2006 I decided it was time to take this much loved hobby to another level. Our guestroom was transformed into a working studio with help from my husband, and the kilns started to work almost continuously.

I love working with glass and watching a single glass sheet become a work of art by adding a variety of other glass materials - frit, noodles, stringers, other glass pieces. The glass piece creation is fired in a kiln, melted, and then cooled slowly to anneal for strength and durablitiy. This is "warm glass"! A piece may be kiln fired multiple times to add glass, reshape or to create a desire form.
